5 Fabulous Frappachinos on the Japanese Starbucks Menu
If you thought the Starbucks frappuccinos in the United States could get crazy intricate, wait until you see the intriguing ones Japan has to offer! To celebrate their 25th anniversary in Japan, Starbucks has created 47 different frappuccino flavors each based on one of Japan’s 47 prefectures. These flavors are picked based on items well-known to each prefecture, and you can only try them if you are in their designated area.
This tribute started June 30th of 2021, and is Starbuck’s way of showing appreciation for the communities within Japan. Since Starbucks first opened in Japan in 1996 in Tokyo Ginza, the chain has expanded their locations to 1,600 stores across the country. Here are a few of the flavors created for Starbucks 25th anniversary in Japan, a part of the 47 Jimoto Frappachinos.
